With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Joyner Jones (Farmland, Indiana), born to Jesse Daniel and Rosa Lee Joyner in Brewton, Alabama who passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 67.
After graduating from Repton High School in 1971 Carrie went on to become a nurse and homemaker. Together with her husband, retired LtCol Scott A. Jones she resided and raised their children in Belle Chasse, Louisiana for 34 years. Since the retirement of her husband in 2009, they have resided in Farmland, Indiana.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband of 45 years LtCol Scott A. Jones, daughter Stephanie Jones, son Jeremy Jones: her grandchildren, Christopher Tobin, Jr, Bryanna Arnett and Daniel Jones :great grandchildren Zayne Fuller and Aydin Fuller,: her brothers D.J. Joyner (Rebecca) ,Ed Joyner, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carrie was proceeded in death by: parents Jesse D. Joyner and Rosa L. Joyner,: son Jason D. Jones: and brother Timothy Joyner.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at their residence in Farmland at a future date. “
