Caroline Sue Jones

Caroline Sue Jones, “Sue,” of Indianapolis, Indiana, born June 11th, 1949. Sue sadly left us March 10th, 2024, at the age of 74, in Indianapolis, IN. 

   Sue is survived by her daughter Stacy Kummer (Jones), Stacy’s husband Tim Kummer, grandchildren Ashley Kummer, Ashley’s fiance Mark Shirrell, Codie Kummer, Kylie Kummer, Shannon Sullivan, Katelynn Williams (Stewart), Katelynn’s husband Dylan Williams. Great grandchildren Landyn Shirrell, Vivian Shirrell, and Theodore Shirrell. Sisters Midge L. Hess of Gladstone, MO and Sandra K. McCann of Kansas City, MO. 

   Sue was preceded in death by her father Ralph Kenneth Bell 11/1976, mother Hazel Lucille Bell 1/1986, sister Ellen Tedrow 4/1986, brother Ralph Bell Jr 1995, sister Connie Hankins 12/2012, brother William Bell 9/2011. Son Scott A. Jones 2/2001, daughter Melissa D.  Jones 10/1985. 

   Sue had three children that she loved dearl: Scott, Stacy, and Melissa. Sue was one of the strongest women around. No matter what, her children & grandchildren were always taken care of. She would give the world to make them happy! 

   Some of Sue's favorite things were spending time with family, she enjoyed doing latch hook kits, she loved all her little niknaks as well. Sue loved her grandson Mark's homemade mac n cheese, and her son in law Tim’s meatloaf! Her favorite drink was an ice cold Dr Pepper. She made great peanut butter fudge. 

   Sue was the best mother, daughter, sister, friend, and nanna. We will miss her so much. 

   Sue's services will be held at Indiana Funeral Care 8151 Allisonville RD. Indianapolis, IN. 46250. Gathering is from 12pm-1pm, with service from 1pm-2pm.
