Carolina Sue O’Dell passed peacefully to her eternal reward on Saturday, September 26, 2020.
A lifetime citizen of Indianapolis, she was born on August 24, 1947 the daughter of Velma Ruth Kinzalow.
Her mother Velma Ruth Kinzalow, brother Robert (Bobby) Kinzalow, and daughters Lorenda (Lori) Wampler and Jamielynn (Jamie) Eldridge preceded her in death.
A proud and avid animal lover, Carolina admired and contributed to the welfare of animals near and far. She also was an avid volunteer at local homeless shelters and assisted with caring for members of the Multiple Sclerosis community. Additionally, her diverse careers included retail management and caregiver for mentally challenged individuals. An avid lover of 60’s music and her faith, one would frequently catch her listening to both on her radio or television.
Carolina is survived by her siblings: Delbert, Don, Donna, and Sandi. Carolina was the perpetual caretaker of her family: Lorenda (Lori) Wampler (deceased), Jamielynn (Jamie) Eldridge (deceased), Tammy Berry (Scott), Richard Eldridge (Kimberly); grandchildren Michael, Amber, Paige, Nathan, Ashley, and Ronnie Jr. and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place in October.
