Carmel

Carole Kay Monday (Wooley) 82, of Carmel, IN. left this broken world to be with Jesus in paradise on January 6th, 2025. She was born on September 30th, 1942, in Indianapolis to loving parents Fred William Wooley and Alice Elizabeth (Edwards) Wooley.

Carole was beloved by all who knew her and her wit was enjoyed by all who were blessed to be in her company. Carole was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church since December 2006 and baptized on December 31, 2006. She loved being in the presence of the Lord even though her hearing was impaired she was faithful to attend every Sunday. She served faithfully in the church nursery until she was unable due to health complications. Although her body wore out, her smile and thankfulness to all who helped her never did. She was the easiest person to love and care for. She always said that love is the most important thing in this life. She loved and cared for all the little creatures of her world. She modeled selfless unconditional love very well. We will always miss her witty sense of humor and unconditional love.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Fred William Wooley and Alice Elizabeth (Edwards) Wooley, and husband of 40 years, Jack Monday, seven of her eleven siblings; Norma Jean Rusie, Joann William, Mary Lou Alley, Freddie Wooley, John Wooley, Janet Abhers, Michael Wooley, her boy’s who were her whole world; John (little Johnny) Troxell, Douglas (Doug) Troxell, and Anthony (Tony) Troxell.

Carole is survived by her siblings; Sandra (Bill) Bell, Monty Wooley, Michelle Fye, and Andrea/Andi (Steve) Whitinger, grandchildren; Jammie (Dairel) Johns, Christy (Collin) Schneider, Amanda (James Coleman) Troxell, Brian Troxell, great grandchildren; MaKayla (Drake Byrn) Henderson, Austin Welcher, Malachi Welcher, DJ Johns, Cyrus Schneider, Jamison Johns, Caius Schneider, Carys Schneider and great great grandchild; Bentley Byrn.
