Carol Angelee Condiff Sears, 90 of Fishers, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2020. Carol was born on November 5, 1929 to Lilly and Marion Cundiff in Williams, Indiana. On the day she graduated from Williams High School in 1948, along with her cousin, packed a suitcase and boarded a bus for Indianapolis to make their mark on the world. She attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis studying secretarial skills. While attending a church picnic she broke her finger while catching a fly ball. The batter, Alan Sears would later become her husband. She and Alan were married on November 22, 1951. They had four children, Mark, Renee, Brian and Lisa. Carol worked for many years at L.S. Ayers at the Glendale mall. Carol and Alan had a large circle of friends and enjoyed Church functions, Starlight Musicals and traveling. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brother Charles, son Mark and daughter Renee. She is survived by her son Brian (Susan) of Martinsville, daughter Lisa Chelf of Fishers, grandchildren Jill Guy (Tyler), Evan Sears (Julia), Ryan and Kyle Chelf. She also leaves behind her sweet sister-in-law Beverly Eubank and many nieces and nephews who will miss “Aunt Angie” and her wildly popular Christmas cookies.
Visitation will be held from 10 to Noon on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Indiana Funeral Care. Services will follow at Noon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either the Special Olympics of Hamilton County or the USO of Indiana.
