Carol Cogdill

Carol Ann Billington (Eaton) (Cogdill), 72, went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2024. Carol was born on August 7, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Samuel Billington and Mary F. Miller. She grew up in the Beech Grove area attending Holy Name Church and grade school. She was among the first graduating class of Roncalli High School in 1970 as well as Marion College Alumni.

Carol dedicated her life as a mother/grandma and NICU nurse. Carol retired after 37 years of nursing from St. Francis Hospital. She spent her retirement volunteering at IPS schools teaching children to read, caring for her beloved grandchildren, and volunteering at her church.

She was a devoted Christian and will be deeply missed by many whom lives she touched. Carol's legacy lives on through her cherished family. She is survived by her children, John Eaton and April Bilyou along with her 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and siblings Donna Brown, Nikki Templeton, Tom Billington, Butch Miller, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carol will be laid to rest March 10, 2025 at Washington Park East Cemetery alongside her parents and grandmother. To carry out Carol's wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at Garfield Christian Church located at 1751 Walker Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46203 on April 12, 2025 at 2:00pm
