Bruce A. Reddin, a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 70. He was born to Paul E. Reddin Sr. and Glenda M. Reddin Ooley on November 29, 1954.
Bruce is survived by his children, Autumn (Raul) Moreno of Kansas City, MO, Tonya (Clever) Angulo and Shane (Ashley) Reddin both of Fort Wayne, IN, Cassandra (Adam) Medina of Fort Wayne, IN, Tiffany Dralle and Amanda Smith both of Toledo, OH. He has 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by sisters, Nancy (Willliam) Tackett of Yoder, Tina West of Fort Wayne, Connie (Pat) Gooley of Orlando, FL.; brothers Larry Reddin and Steve (Susan) Reddin, both of Yoder. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Glenda M. Reddin Ooley, father, Paul E. Reddin Sr, and brothers, Paul E. "Gene" Reddin Jr. and Vernon Reddin.
Bruce was the proud father of six children, each of whom he cherished deeply. However, his greatest joy in life came from being a grandfather-his grandkids were the light of his life, and he adored every moment spent with them. Whether sharing stories, offering words of wisdom, or simply laughing together.
A true free spirit, Bruce found his greatest peace on the open road, riding his beloved Harley Davidson with the wind in his face. He had an undeniable love for the outdoors, whether it was taking in the beauty of nature, working on cars, or spending time with those he loved.
Bruce dedicated his entire career to truck driving, retiring from the Teamsters Local 414, a profession that suited his adventurous nature. He took pride in his work, enjoying the journey as much as the destination. Through long roads and countless miles, he built a life filled with hard work, determination, and resilience.
By his side was his loyal best friend and partner, his beloved dog, Ruger. The bond they shared was unbreakable. Ruger remained his steadfast companion through the end and will now be cared for by his brother Larry Reddin.
Bruce will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic and adventurous spirit but for the kindness, wisdom, and love he shared with everyone who knew him. His memory will forever ride on in the hearts of his family and friends, his legacy living on through the lives he touched.
