Bruce McCord

Bruce "Tuffy" McCord met his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on May 12th, 2024. He was 82.

Bruce was born in 1941. He married the love of his life, Sharon Collins, on January 27th, 1973. Together, they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.

He worked power line construction most of his life. He excelled at his work and took pride in what he did. It was obvious to his friends and fellow workers that he was one of the best at it.

Bruce loved his family- his wife "as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her" (Ephesians 5:25), his children, welcoming each of their spouses with open arms, and his grandchildren. Bruce was kind, caring, and always made you smile with his joking. He loved raising farm animals and having the best vegetable garden on his road in Kentucky. He loved shooting pool and could embarrass just about anyone who played against him.

Bruce is survived by his four children, Bruce Jr (and Regina) McCord, of Greenwood, IN., Mike (and Kim) McCord, of Chillicothe, OH., Phillip (and Heather) McCord, of Frankfort, OH., and Becky (and Dennis) Zachary, of Jasper, IN.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

This man was truly special and will surely be missed. Until we meet again...
