Bruce Allen Jones, 72, of Noblesville, passed away on July 19, 2022, in Carmel IN after a brief illness. Bruce was born on May 12, 1950, to Ruth Eileen (Sellers) and John Wavern Jones. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his brother Spencer Jones. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pamela Jean, his daughter Angela Louise Johnson (Jones), grandson Stuart Kenneth Johnson, granddaughter Sydney Grace Johnson, and his brother Keith (Cheryl) Jones.
Bruce and his wife Pam were high school sweethearts and were married on February 23, 1968. They welcomed their only daughter, Angela, in June of 1970. Of Bruce's many accomplishments, he was most proud of his family.
Bruce was a veteran of the Army Reserves, where he served as a Generator Operator and Bus Driver. He was honorably discharged after 6 years of Army service.
Bruce began his career in Real Estate in the early 1970's and enjoyed a long, successful career. His success was attributed to the fact that he was smart, personable and charismatic. Bruce was also known for his high regard for others and a refreshing, authentic honesty. Bruce was Real Estate Associate of the Year in 1978. Bruce and his wife Pam established the Bruce A. Jones Company, a Real Estate Investment/Property Management company, owning and managing a number of rental properties, which ultimately provided a secure future for his family for generations to come. In his later years, he enjoyed a career as a Real Estate Appraiser, his vast Real Estate experience added to his expertise in appraising.
Bruce also cherished his time away from work. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving sports cars, skeet shooting and competition handgun shooting. Bruce was also very active, and enjoyed exercising, weightlifting and riding his bicycle. He enjoyed a good old-timey western show, a Disney movie and avidly reading about a variety of subjects, always to be learning.
Bruce was a member of the Masonic order, Millersville Lodge where he made many lifelong friends. He was Master of his lodge at least twice and became involved in the Scottish Rite as an officer. He enjoyed the challenge of acting in the degree performances. The wisdoms and insights he learned at the Masonic order were meaningful to him in both the Blue Lodge and the Scottish Rite.
Bruce was a wise, sensitive, kind, and caring person, always ready to talk to anyone with a smile and warm handshake. He was a spiritual man, close to God in his heart. He was also a Reiki Master.
Bruce will be most remembered as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, ever dedicated to and offering advice and a helping hand to his family and friends.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the funeral service immediately following. The Visitation and Service will be held at the Harry W. Moore Chapel at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Immediately following the service, Bruce will be laid to rest at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery, 4180 Westfield Rd, Westfield, IN 46062.
