Bobby D. Varnado passed away on April 27, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bobby was born in Gary, Indiana to Tommy Hurst and Ora Varnado on October 30, 1971.
Bobby attended Lew Wallace High School and went on to work as a forklift driver for a number of years. Bobby had a passion for cars, music and fishing and was evident in everything he did. Bobby had a love for family and was deeply loved by his family.
Bobby leaves behind his children, Bobby D. Varnado Jr. (Tiona Smitherman), and Darren N. Varnado (Anitra Cannon); brothers, Michael (Ka Yatuana) Varnado and Tavoris (Ruby) Hurst; nephew, Tavoris T.L. Hurst Jr.; nieces; KiMorah L. Varnado, and TaLeah A. M. Hurst; and two brothers in love, Carey Smoot and Hector Hernandez, and a host of dear friends and loved ones.
Bobby was loved by his family and they cherished every moment spent with him. He was known for his fun personality, his funny jokes and he was admired by all who knew him. Bobby will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250. Flowers may be sent to Indiana Funeral Care. Burial will follow in Sutherland Park Cemetery, 4140 Millersville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205.
