Beverly McClain

Beverly Ann McClain, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away on August 12, 2024, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 82. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 13, 1942, to the late Orville K and Mabel I Toon (Collier).

Beverly was united in marriage with Leslie D. McClain on September 4, 1959, and together they were blessed with five children. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Jim (Sara) McClain, Cindy (George) Brown, and Steve McClain; grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Brown, Megan Brown, Emily McClain (Josh Medsker), and Zachary Brown; great-grandchildren, Gavin Brown, Caden Brown, Ashton Brown and Remington Medsker; as well as other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; and two infant daughters, Marcia and Shelley.

A memorial service to honor Bev's life will be held at 5:00pm on August 30, 2024, at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, with a public visitation scheduled prior to the service from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. Following the memorial service, a reception will be held in New Palestine. The family invites friends, relatives, and acquaintances to join them in reflecting on the beautiful life of Beverly Ann McClain.
