Beulah Lane, 89, of Indianapolis, IN. widow of Gorden Elwood Lane, passed away on Friday April 10, 2020 at Bridgewater Health Center, Westfield, IN. Beulah was born to the late Rev. William and Iva McFerron on July, 23 1930 in Bloss, Kentucky.
Beulah was 89 years old on the day Jesus took her to her heavenly home. Dad’s been waiting a long time, what a reunion.
Beulah enjoyed sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren. Family has always been important to her, she loved to attend family gathering and reunions. Beulah retired from Naval Avonics (Raytheon). Beulah and Gorden traveled all 50 states as well as 2 trips to the Holy Land. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Indianapolis and oversaw the Greeters ministry.
Survivors include her children: Sharron Shambaugh of Fairland, IN and Willette (Dennis) Cooper; grandchildren, Thomas (Shanna)Shambaugh, Teresa Shambaugh, Jessica Deuberry Cooper, and Elyse (Clifford) Richards, great-children; Ashley Gates, Patrick (Samantha) Shambaugh and Cierra Shambaugh; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care with Rev. Donald Mitchell with burial following at Washington Park North Cemetery.
