Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, Betty Louise (Ellis) Wynalda, 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at her home with family by her side.

She was born on October 27, 1933, to the late William R. and Stella (Mounts) Ellis in Logan, West Virginia. She was the oldest of 9 children. 

Betty worked for A&P stores and later was a realtor in California for many years. 

She is survived by her husband, Harold S. Wynalda; son, David Bates of California; daughter, Vicky Richardson of California; brother, Clifford Ellis; sisters, Bessie Winters, Ruthie Smith, Linda Wright, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, William, and Stella Ellis; brothers, Robert Ellis, James Ellis; sisters, Aretta Chambers and Juanita Ellis.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 11, 2025, 10:30 am until 12:30 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.

Funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm.

Burial to immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
