Becky Jo Huber “Not Rebecca” 71 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away August 31st, 2023, of multiple strokes.
Becky graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1970.
Growing up she loved laying on the beach all summer long at her parents’ house on Indiana Lake.
On Friday September 20, 1974, Rick & Becky went on a blind date to the drive-in movie and saw Death Wish, Becky hated it. Afterwards they went to Steak & Shake, Becky hated it. Becky saw something in Rick that she couldn’t live without.
Rick and Becky tied the knot on February 10th, 1978, even “The Blizzard of 78” did not stop her.
Rick and Becky had a great life and loved to travel. Becky loved her cars and had many of them… Corvettes, Trans Ams, etc.
On September 23, 1982, they welcomed a baby girl into their world, Andrea Marie Huber was born and was the apple of her mother’s eye.
Becky was a very hard worker and dedicated to her jobs, she was also very intelligent, “a Weaver trait”.
Becky would give the shirt off her back to anyone and everyone.
Becky had a love for people, purses, jewelry, photography, pens, books, marbles, plants, pottery, original paintings, dogs…. and many more.
Becky is survived by her husband of 46 years Rick, daughter Andrea Long, Michael Long, 3 grandchildren Katelyn, Devin and Juleigh.
Her brother Kerry & Dianna, sister Cindy, nephew Bobby, niece Jessica and Tyler.
Becky is preceded in her death by mother Barbara, father Joe & brother David.
