Barry Reed Stickford, 64, currently of Greenwood Indiana, passed away peacefully, December 8, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones.

Barry was born on January 11, 1957, to the late Howard and Wilmajean (Austin) Stickford. He attended IPS #35 graduated from Emmerich Manual High school and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University.

Barry married the "Love of his life" Cheryl (Peavey) on August 25, 1979. They were happily married for 42 years. He was the proud father of three Daughters; Jennifer (Jason) Grider, Julie (David) Hicks, and Jamie Stickford.
His most treasured gift in life was being "Bawbaw" to 5 Grandchildren; Ethan Grider, Evan Grider, Gracie Johns, Aiden Hicks, and Cohen Hicks; one brother, Gary Stickford, niece and nephews; Alyson (Greg) Wauben, Jonathan (Abby) Stickford and JD Stickford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as, sister-in-law Vicki Stickford.

Barry was a devoted and loving Son, Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He was a hard worker and dedicated employee, friend, and neighbor. He was fair, honest, and never failed to make sure everyone felt included.

Barry loved spending time with his immediate and extended family. His hobbies included traveling, fishing, camping, attending the grandkids sporting events, and spoiling his faithful companion, "Sophie". He was an avid sports fan but his passion was watching IU Basketball Games. A heartfelt "Thank You" to his lifelong best friend Eric Klemm for always being there when needed.

It is the wish of the family that, there will not be a funeral service at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
