Barbara Diane Wooten, 47, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was called into heaven on January 23, 2024. Born on December 23, 1976, in Greenfield, Indiana, Barbara, affectionately known as Barb to her loved ones, lived a life characterized by unwavering dedication to her family.

Barb's life was one of service and love, most notably as a devoted mother to her special needs children over the past thirteen years. She embraced this calling with every fiber of her being, creating a nurturing home filled with love and compassion.

Barb is survived by her loving husband, Craig Wooten, and their children, Michael and Maris Wooten. She was a cherished daughter of Don and Becky Hayes and a sister to Michael Hayes (Carrie), Adam Pleasant, and Becky Ball. Barb also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends, all of whom she loved. She also loved her fur babies. Her memory will be a treasure in their hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald Gene Hayes and Lenora Graham Hayes.

Before her years as a dedicated mom, Barb contributed her skills to the corporate world as a Broker Assistant at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. She was a proud graduate of Mt Vernon High School and earned an Administrative Assistant degree from International Business College.

Barb attended Mainstreet Church of God in Anderson, IN, where she found strength and fellowship.

Indiana Funeral Care in Indianapolis, IN, is entrusted with the arrangements.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were touched by her presence.

"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns" - Psalm 46:5
