Barbara M. Dilk

Barbara M. Dilk, 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 17, 2020, after a
lengthy illness.
Barbara was born in Indianapolis on August 26, 1935 to Francis and Rhuena Wire.
She graduated from North Vernon High School in 1953. Barbara was married to Floyd L. Dilk on August 22, 1953; they were married 22 years, until their 1975 divorce. She worked as a pharmacy technician for 30 years.
Barbara is survived by (son) Michael (Chriss) Dilk of Fishers, Indiana; (son) David Dilk of
Greenwood, Indiana, (daughter) Sandra Dilk of Columbus, Indiana; (daughter) Kathy Duke of
Greenwood; (grandchildren) Summer Dishinger (Chris), Jonathan Dilk, Conner Dilk, Kainen
Carr, Chelsy Carr, Jessica Klemme (Skylar) and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by Linda S. Dilk (daughter), Leslie Ann Duke (granddaughter),
Floyd L. Dilk (ex-husband), as well as her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
In lieu of lieu of flowers, please give to your local animal rescues and shelters, adopt a pet, or
just be kind to those in need.
A private service is planned on February 21, 2020 at Indiana Funeral Care.
