Born in Louisville, KY 10/09/1947 passed 3:40 a.m. 7/4/2021

Jane is preceded in death by her Mother Rachel Dagmar Korfhage (Maguire), Father Leroy Francis Korfhage, sister Lee Ann Knight (Korfhage) and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her daughter Jayne Rachel Lockert (Noland) husband Gregory Allen Lockert, son James Richard Noland wife Allison Joanne Noland (Weddell), her grandchildren Olivia Mae Lockert, Isabelle Grace Lockert, Owen Allen Lockert, Evangeline Hope Lockert, Mackenzie Ann Noland and Aubrey Marie Noland, her brother-in-law Edward Charles Knight and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was born in Louisville Kentucky and moved to Indianapolis Indiana when she was eight. She was a 39 year resident of Carmel Indiana.

Jane graduated from Lawrence (Central) High School in 1965 and attended Indiana Business College for secretarial classes.
Her immediate family spent every weekend and holiday they could traveling back to Kentucky to be with their large extended family. All of her family was close and even in her last moments of consciousness she was on the phone with two of her cousins.

She cherished her children and grandchildren and spending time with them. She enjoyed hosting fancy Christmas brunch every year for her family. She was a fun and funny woman full of energy. She was active in bowling leagues, was on the church softball team, an avid euchre player and an excellent pool player. She was always involved in church (Orchard Park Presbyterian) as a Sunday School volunteer and her children’s school events when they were young. She volunteered at Carmel Middle School as a nurse’s aide. She loved cruises with her group of friends and her ladies from bingo club.
She still met with her graduating class almost every year for their class reunion, which would have been 56 years this year.
She was strong willed and had a strong moral compass. She was very independent and fiercely loyal to her family and friends.
She could change the oil in a car and then put on an apron to fix dinner. She taught her children to be the same way.

Jane spent several years as a stay at home mother. Her most notable employment being secretary for the general where her then husband and father of her children (Richard Leon Noland) was stationed at Fort Carson in the late 60’s, secretary for the Department of Agriculture, secretary at Altec Electronics, office secretary at Graves Realty, closing manager at C.P Morgan and retired from St. Claire Group as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. She had a strong work ethic. She brought integrity, professionalism and organization to every position she held.

SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS
There will be a service on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 @ 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration for Jane at South Harbour Clubhouse, 1156 South Harbour Drive, Noblesville IN 46062

Her wishes to be interred next to her mother in Resthaven Cemetery in Kentucky will be honored in a private ceremony.
