Audrey Alice Goudy, 92 of Noblesville and past resident of Cadiz, passed away at her home on Saturday December 26 after a long illness. She was born on December 14, 1928 in Indianapolis the daughter of Hollie and Grace (Riggleman) Osborne. She was a graduate of Southport High School, and had previously been employed at State Auto Insurance and Shenandoah Middle School. After raising her family, she lived in Ellenton Florida for several years before moving to Noblesville.
She was a member of Cadiz Christian Church where she was involved in many community activities, worked as a voting official for many elections, and was an active member of the Shenandoah Band Boosters for many years. She enjoyed refurbishing antique furniture and working in her gardens. She was a big IU Hoosier sports fan and loved country music.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Jules Goudy, and four children: Debra Thompson of Noblesville, Derrick (Kathy Barkdull) Goudy of Middletown Julann Main of New Castle, and Joel (Michelle) Goudy of Noblesville. Grandchildren: Lori (Dave) Knox of Noblesville, Kyle Kennedy of Plainfield, Jacob Main and Bailey Main of New Castle, Damon Goudy and Mark Goudy of Noblesville. Sisters Opal Walker, Dorothy Abney, Helen Dimos, and Louise Shearin; Brothers Cliff Osborne and Larry Osborne; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Kate, Eleanor, Betty, and Carolyn; brothers Clyde, Arvin, Lyle and Paul.
Her family would like to express their gratitude for the support from Paradigm Hospice, especially Laurie and Kandi, for their care and kindness.
There will be a private family memorial service at a future date.
