Aubrey A. Hubbard was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 21st, 1961. Born to Guy and Clara Hubbard. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age, he was baptized at Church of the Living God Temple #18. Aubrey attended Indianapolis Public School #71 and graduated from John Marshall High School in June of 1979. Aubrey also attended Indiana University, graduating in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in business accounting.
Aubrey held various positions throughout his work career. He was employed at TCS Transportation (Indianapolis), Wishard Hospital (Indianapolis), AT&T; Call Center (Longview), Clarion Hotel (Longview), and Goodwill industry. Aubrey was a model employee.
Aubrey A. Hubbard married Sylvia E. Winn-Hubbard on September 17, 1988; they had 32 years filled with ever-growing love. They were blessed with three children, Khody, Mikayleh, and Nathan. Aubrey was reunited with his love of his life on December 11th, he always knew he would see Sylvia again in heaven. They resided in Longview, TX for 17 years and 16 years in Indianapolis, IN. Upon relocating back to Indianapolis in 2012, Aubrey joined the New Fellowship Family Church, where he was an active and dedicated member.
Aubrey was an avid music lover, Marvel & DC comics and computer games were his favorite. He was a huge Pacers and Colts fan, and also liked watching college basketball, a family historian, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Aubrey was a gentle, positive spirit, caring, fun-loving, family-oriented person. He was hard-working, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Aubrey cherished his role of being a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son-in-law, cousin, and friend.
Aubrey leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Khody Hubbard and Nathan Hubbard; his daughter Mikayleh Hubbard; 6 grandchildren Derek Cox, Khloe Hubbard, Khyrie Hubbard, Khali Hubbard, Londyn Parker, and Malakhi Parker; brothers, Guy Hubbard, Elder Donald Hubbard; sisters Gwen Parish, Beverly Hubbard-Kersey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia W Winn-Hubbard; brothers, Bobby Hubbard and Bryon Hubbard.
