Ashley Nolan

Ashley Lynn Nolan (Sego) was suddenly and tragically taken from us on August 12, 2024. She was 41 years old.

Ashley was born July 5, 1983, to loving parents Gene and Teresa Sego. She grew up in a happy home where she created countless memories with family and friends. We cherish the memories of her smile, contagious laugh, and sense of humor. She was full of love and joy and was a light in the world. She was beautiful, inside and out. Ashley will be lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of ever meeting her.

She is survived by her two precious daughters, Jillian and Delaney. Her greatest joy was being their mom. She delighted in them and raised them to be amazing young women. Ashley was a dedicated Christ-follower who loved God and faithfully served Him. Her greatest legacy is the foundation of faith she fostered in her girls.

Ashley worked at Riley Hospital for Children as an administrative assistant to Dr. Martin Kaefer. She excelled in her job with a work ethic that was second to none, but more importantly, she showed love and kindness to the patients and families that will leave a lasting impact. Ashley showed so much compassion for people and was a picture of the goodness of God.

When unthinkable tragedies happen, it is easy to forget all the goodness of God. Ashley would want us to remember. He is so faithful. He has never failed us. He won't fail us now. His plans are far greater than our finite minds can comprehend, and we trust and know that He can and will use Ashley's story and her death for His glory. Look for His goodness. Praise Him in the hard moments. Ashley gets to be in His presence, face-to-face with her precious Savior. She is no longer hurting. She is safe and protected in His loving embrace.

Ashley is survived by her daughters, Jillian and Delaney Nolan; parents, Gene and Teresa Sego; brother, Dak (Jami) Sego; nephew, Blake Sego; niece, Adaleena Sego; In-Laws; Tim and Tracy Nolan; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Life service will be held at Emmanuel Church, Banta Campus,6602 Harding Street, Indianapolis, IN 46217, at 11 AM, with visitation beginning at 9 AM.
