Anthony (Tony) Barrow, age 46, passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2023 in Indianapolis, IN

Anthony was born in Indianapolis, IN to Stanley Barrow and Terri Elliott Vandermark on January 2, 1977

He was preceded in death by Kris D. Barrow (Brother) in 1997 & Stanley Barrow (Father) in 2017.

Survived by Terri Elliott Vandermark (mother), Mark Vandermark (stepfather), Nicole (Nikki) Barrow (sister), Kris Anthony Barrow (son) and Jaylen Mikels (son).

Growing up, Anthony enjoyed pestering his siblings, gymnastics, football, and wrestling. He excelled at most things he found to be interesting and/or challenging. Anthony enjoyed shopping, cooking, outdoor sports, and spending time with friends and family. If he was not entertaining an animal, trying to make a baby smile, eating or cooking, he was probably calling or texting friends checking in on them. Anthony fought many battles through his journey of life. His most recent was a brief stay at the Indiana DOC where he completed treatment for Colon Cancer.

Anthony worked for Volumod, an amazing company on the far eastside, who invests in their re-entry program, where they help returning citizens to new life, a job, new work abilities, life skills and one on one mentoring. Here he worked in the roofing division, where he worked his way up to Team Lead. Friend or foe Anthony had a huge heart and loved to see everyone around him smile. Sadly, unexpectedly on February 28, 2023, the world lost an unforgettable son, brother, father, and friend. Anthony will be missed by many.

Services for Anthony Barrow will be held on Thursday March 9, 2023, from 3-5pm at Indiana Funeral Care 8151 Allisonville Road Indianapolis IN 46250   Gathering to follow @ 6215 Knyghton Road Indianapolis IN 46220

Anthony will be laid to rest near his brother Kris at Washington Park East on Friday March 10, 2023

Anthony's favorite charity was the American Cancer Society.
