Anthoney Darnell Lee, 35, of Lafayette, Indiana, tragically passed away on September 27, 2024, after a brief illness.

Anthoney was born on March 29, 1989, to Patricia Henry and Melvin Lee in Niles, Michigan. After Anthoney graduated from John Adams High School in 2007, he went on to study automotive technology at Universal Technical Institute in Lisle, Illinois.

After graduating from UTI, Anthoney went to work for Hubler Chevrolet in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he enjoyed being with family and friends. He moved to Pennsylvania in September 2022 with his partner, Diana Ritchie, as they pursued career opportunities. In Pennsylvania Anthoney served as an assistant manager at Goodwill. Diana and Anthoney moved back to Lafayette, Indiana in July 2024, where they rejoined with family and friends.

In addition to his love of automotive mechanics, Anthoney was an avid reseller specializing in name labeled sneakers and sports memorabilia. In high school he was involved in numerous sports including football, baseball, and basketball.

Anthoney comes from an extensive family that live in many parts of the country, most specifically South Bend, Indianapolis, Lafayette, and Atlanta, Georgia. Anthoney is survived by his son Noah Stevens, partner Diana Ritchie, parents Patricia Henry and Melvin Lee, paternal grandmother Dorris Lee, and his brothers Joseph Henry, Richard Henry (Erica), Melvin White, and sister Kinadi Lee (Carter Marsh). Anthoney is also survived by his “Bonus Brothers” Demond “Buddy” McCaster, Maurice McDonald, Charles Hardiman, Mark Stevens, Jessie Stuckey (Norvia Pittman), and Devonte Harris. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and others. Anthoney was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Maureen Harris, uncle Michael Lee, and niece Courtney Henry.
