Annabel Beard

Annabel Beard, 95, of Indianapolis passed away January 7, 2025. She was born July 29, 1929 in Waco, Texas to the late Clarence and Lois Cobb. She and Melvin Beard were married in Waco, Texas December 2, 1950.

Annabel enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to the Happy Goodman’s, sewing, crocheting ,and spending time with family.

She is survived by her three children, Debbie Dane, Melita (Alex) Lecona, and James (Diana) Beard.; her seven grandchildren, Richie Pfeiffer, Amy Martin, Brandon Davis, Ellie Dane, Erika Lecona, Elena Lecona, and Sara Beard; her 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She proceeded in death by her husband Melvin Beard (m. 1950); her brother Clarence Cobb and sister Pat lynch.

Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm, Saturday February 1, 2025 at Indiana Funeral Care- Indianapolis, 8151 Allisonville Road. Service will be from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm. Proceeded by a small graveside service for the family.
