Anna M. (LaGrotte) Montarsi, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 16th.
She is survived by her husband, Sestilio (Leo) Montarsi of 63 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Anthony LaGrotte and her brothers, Angelo, Marion and Ralph.
Born November 6, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School.
She married Leo in 1958 and is the mother of Philip, Mario and Anthony(Shelli).
She is also the grandmother of eight grandchildren, Blake, Ian, Holden, Robert, Irma, Maria, Madalyn and Victoria, and three great grandchildren, Calvin, Kate and Leon. (and a fourth to arrive this spring)
Anna cherished her friendships, many of which went back to her childhood. She kept in touch by phone and letter. She always made sure to send birthday and Christmas cards to all she loved, near and far.
She also enjoyed baking, watching soap operas and her collecting antique dishes.
Above all, she was a dedicated mother and housewife, doing all she could to keep a house full of boys under control.
