Ana Darochkina passed away peacefully on October 13, 2020, at the age of 72 after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Ana was born on April 6, 1948, in Chișinău, Moldova. She received her mechanical and engineering degrees in Moldova, and worked for over 30 years for the USSR government. In 1975, Ana married Michael Darochkin, her continued partner in life for 45 years.
Ana committed her life to helping people and was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ana had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to care for others. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Ana is survived by her husband Michael, 4 daughters: Suzanna (Andrew), Tatiana (Robert), Svetlana, Irina (Russell); grandchildren Olga (Avihai), Emily, Alex, Vladimir (Cristina), Leonid, Mihail, Michael, and Matthew.
Christian Orthodox service will be held on October 16, Friday, 10 am, outdoors, at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, IN.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of Oncology Department at Community East/North, and Community Hospice In-home Care for their consistent and attentive treatment and care.
