Born to James Victor Manson & Mary Pulley of Jackson, MI, Ann is survived by her sister and daughter, who remember her unwavering independence and ability to speak her mind. She loved the Colts, a good vodka gimlet, visiting the casinos, and knitting for her great granddaughters. But the greatest love was her late-husband, Lee, who exclaimed he “had to take her out” while the two were attending Michigan State. A resident of Meridian Hills for almost 50 years, Ann raised a son & daughter, and later utilized her grandchildren as child labor for landscaping, but always overpaid with trips to the zoo and an ever-stocked fridge of soda and chocolate milk, then Gatorade and beers when they were older. As matriarch, Ann swayed everything from Christmases to graduation parties, usually sitting quietly in the back and only giving away a sly smile or comment when her overly generous gift was received. Her family will miss her greatly.
There will be a calling and a short service on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 3-5pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
