Ann Marie Elmore

Ann Marie Elmore of Indianapolis, age 73, left this world Saturday January 14, 2023 at Compassus St. Vincent’s Hospice after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11am - 1pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250. For those attending, please consider wearing an item of clothing or accessory in teal/blue/turquoise in honor of Ann’s favorite color and her love of the ocean.

Ann was born in Jeffersonville, IN on March 16, 1949 the daughter of Henry and Helena Kuhn. She grew up in Louisville, KY then after marriage she moved frequently with her family where she had the opportunity to build relationships with many of her lifelong friends from near and far.

She leaves behind many who loved her. Her children Brian (Jeffrey Hamm) Elmore, Jason (Nicole) Elmore, two grandchildren Emma and Mia Elmore, mother Helena Kuhn, her siblings Helen Burke, Bill (Martha) Kuhn, Chuck (Lori) Kuhn, nieces and nephews Eileen (Dave) Dennie, Sean (Ellecia) Burke, Kevin (Joanne DeGarimore) Kuhn, Tyler (Rachel) Kuhn, and Devanny (Tommy) Boisvert, former spouse Mike (Linda) Elmore, as well as many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Kuhn, sister Debbie Hines, and brother in law Patrick Burke.

She enjoyed traveling, the beach, time by the pool, the sunshine, and anything that sounded like a good time. She was full of life and loved spending time visiting with her family and friends. 

Ann was eternally grateful for the compassion and care she received from all the nurses at Ascension St. Vincent hospital during her cancer battle, and while there would be too many to name individually, it’s safe to say they truly are angels on earth.
