Angela "Angel" Rae (Mitten) Linville, age 57, of Mohawk, Ind., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 after a three year battle with cancer. Angel was born on December 9, 1962 in Greenfield as the daughter of Walter Wiley and Arnella (Murphy) Mitten. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1981 where she played clarinet in the high school band. Angel married William H. Linville II on March 15, 1996 in Greenfield.
Angel worked at various insurance companies and restaurants through the years, but the position she held as an in-home daycare provider was her favorite due to her love of children. Angel was a member of the Mohawk United Methodist Church where she also served as nursery attendant.
Angel is survived by her sons Jacob Devon Kleeman of Greenfield and William Howard Linville III of Mohawk; grandson, Devon Angelicous Karlsson Kleeman of Sweden; mother, Arnella Mitten of Mohawk; sisters, Nikki Ward of Mohawk and Julie (Bob) Reeves of Nashville, IN; and brother, Walter Kim (Tina) Mitten of Mohawk; brother-in-laws Ted (Brittany) Linville of Westmoreland, TN and Chris Linville of Indiana. Also surviving Angel are her best friends and cousins, Penny Barker and Renie Johnson, several nieces and nephews, many cousins; and her beloved pets Max and Jojo. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Linville II; father, Walter W. Mitten; mother-in-law, Linda Irons; brother-in-law, David Ward; and sister-in-law Rose Love.
The family wishes to thank all who lifted Angel up in their prayers, sent cards, gift cards, monies and flowers.
