Amy Lorraine Collins

Amy Lorraine Collins, a resident of Fountaintown, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the age of 54.

Amy was born on February 23, 1967, to Charles and Florence (Patty) Fry in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended and graduated from Warren Central High School. Amy spent her professional life as an avid caretaker across a few different career fields, from childcare to caretaking for the elderly. To all who knew her, Amy was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was extremely generous and would give anything to the people she loved.

Amy loved the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening, and mowing the lawn. She had quite the green thumb and owned many houseplants. These hobbies were very calming to her and gave her a sense of peace. She was also an avid animal lover. Above all else, she loved spending time with her four children, family, and friends.

Amy is survived by her four children, Sarah (Micah) Solus of Albany, OR, Jordan Bowman of Indianapolis, IN, Leah Collins of Fountaintown, IN, and Alyssa Collins of Fountaintown, IN; one grandchild, Leon Bowman; her step-mother, Patsy Fry; two siblings, Mike Fry and Darla Fry; two step-siblings, Jim (Vicki) Wade and Jeri Lynn Wade; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Preceding Amy in death are her parents, as well as her brother, Scott A. Fry.

A celebration of life will take place on July 30, 2021, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Home, located at 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250 for family and friends.
