Alice Jeanne Dinnsen

Alice “Jeanne” Dinnsen (Stevens) passed peacefully with her family by her side on February 19 at Community North Hospice in Indianapolis at the age of 96.

Jeanne is survived by her sons J Stevens (Tessie), Daniel A (Judith) & Robert L (Connie). 7 Grand Children & 12 Great Grand Children. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, 2 brothers & 2 sisters.

Jeanne was born on June 13, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Harry A & Oolah E Stevens. She married Jack Dinnsen, her high school sweetheart in 1943. They moved to Indianapolis in 1956 from Chicago. They moved to Clearwater, FL in 1990 and lived there until Jack’s death in 2016. Jeanne moved back to Indianapolis in 2017.

Jeanne & Jack were early members of Epworth United Methodist while in Indianapolis. They were also members of Woodland Country Club. While in Florida they were active members of The Clearwater Country Club. Jeanne was an active member and past President of The General Federation of Women’s Club of Clearwater

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday February 27 at 5 PM at Indiana Funeral Care in Indianapolis with visitation beginning at 4 PM.
